Story has been scrapped due to the stable being remade

So here is another part of the story, finally it was time to introduce Clara and Laura!
Laura is the blond trainer on the left, Clare is the bit posh lady on the right~

Both of them are so different compared to each other, one was raised to be a proper mannered lady, the other one doesn't mind mud and bruises :')

Story : 

As the day passed and the sun began to set, the Estate started to become quiet and more peaceful.

In about 2 hours the appaloosa stallions will be brought back to the stables, but for now the place is under Laura’s control. She is the main trainer hired for the Barroco’s here, as well a bit of a tutor for Greg on how to raise his horses in the best way possible. He was only a rider so a lot of things to catch up.

Meanwhile Laura was taking care of the horses left, in this case it was King and Queen. She likes to call them a couple even tho the mare isn’t really found of the bossy stallion.

Recently told that Gregory will be going on an auction, she was happy to get a higher pay, as there will be more horses in the stables but on the other hand she does it because she loves these amazing beasts. Even telling that such a beautiful mare like Queen would be an amazing dam, selling the idea to Greg after saying “maybe the blue eyes will pass” But that was a morning chat and evening is coming. The young woman was taking care of the mare, simply grooming her long mane when she was disturbed by the sound of heels. One person in particular only wears them around here and that was Clarissa the manager of the estate.

Let’s say Gregory realizes the fact he is bad with money and she is there to help with the spending’s, time management and over all adult things he was never found of.

Maybe a small lady but she was sharp and acted as a proper madam. “Hello Laura, how are the horses? Is ev” She got interrupted by the flaxen mare snorting. “Eh horses.” She ended her sentence.

Laura simply smiled in a kind manner “oh they are just fine, Queen had her beauty time, just look at her golden mane and King, he is already in his stall, still he had his training routine done. Why you asking?” she lifted her eyebrow in curiosity.

“It is simply to make sure there is progress, as Mr. Rigmont wants the Estate to be a proper place to raise champions they need to be trained and kept well”

“Oh there is no problem with that, I mean Gregory and Charles do spend a lot of time in saddle to get better and better, Rook and Bishop are probably sweating after a long ride”

Clarissa frowned “You call your boss by name?”

“Yes, as he wants me to treat him like a friend, plus I teach him a lot and it’s a little awkward calling each other Miss, Mr.”

“Of course, good reason I suppose” Clara made that small remark and looked at the Flaxen mare. She was pretty for sure, tho as an irony Clarissa is the manager of these horses but she happens to be also afraid of them, the size, and the strength. She still holds a fascination in these creatures but preferably from distance. As well she was brought up in the ideas that manners are key, and getting her dress dirty was out of the question. Even seeing Laura in a dirty shirt and pants was pretty explanatory for her. For Clara it was either working class, or she doesn’t care that much about her looks.

The blond girl simply rubbed the mares head, she loved all the horses here so it was easy for her to manage them. “Changing the subject I am quite curious what is Greg planning for the auction, he said there will be some Barroco’s there. Quite a rare breed and I am still wondering how he got four of them, having one is already an achievement”

Clarissa pulled her hand out, wanting to pet the mare, only hearing a snort and she pulled it back.

“Ah well, it’s his ideas. He said he would want to breed the horses soon and have at least two more to avoid inbreeding and keep the blood pure”

Laura looked at the short lady “You scared of horses?”

“No…?” Clara tried to act natural. “If the horse will move I take it as a no, simple isn’t it?”

“Oh sure, but a horse won’t keep still for you all the time, they have their own personality, which makes every one of them unique” Laura smiled.

“Well I will be waiting till Monday, I really want to know what will come here, as well question Clare. Or should I call you Miss. Ell? Ell?”

“Just Miss will be fine”

“Alright Miss, Question about the breeding. Do you know what stud will be brought over for Queen?”

“Not yet, Mr. Rigmont is still trying to get his mind around how horse colors work, I will tell you once I know”

Simple as it is the sun began to set more and more, the sky was reddish and the Sun was in the color of blood. “There will be a cold night” Laura said.

“How do you know?” Clara asked, as she was curious about her logic.

“When the sun is red, the night is cold old thing from Poland” She smiled. “Well I will be taking Queen back to her stall, it was a nice chat with you Miss” After that he pulled the lead a bit making Queen follow her, the stables were clean and luxurious for these days. Giving the horses a great opportunity to train for shows.
